Life can become exceedingly difficult for people without family support who suffer a spinal cord injury (SCI). We believe everyone in this community should have the opportunity to return to an environment that allows them to function in a similar fashion as they did prior to their injury.  “Project Rebuild” is the name we have given to RBT’s long term initiatives. Our vision is to build homes for spinal cord injured persons who lack a family support system and want to live independently. Residents will experience a private home environment with multiple bedrooms on one-level. These ADA compliant houses will be constructed with doors, bathrooms, and entrances to meet the functional needs of its occupants. We will equip each home with the latest assistive technology. With a maximum of four individuals per home, residents will enjoy camaraderie in a familial setting. Our goal is for all to experience independence within a living environment where certified care takers attend to their personal care.
